VISHNUSAHASHTRANAM SHLOKA 5

37.swayambhu
This name of Narayana, Swayambhu, indicates that God is the master of His own will.  No external cause has any effect on God.  He does everything according to his own will or does not.

38.Shambhu
Narayan is the One who gives happiness and well being to his devotees because of their devotion.  That is why He is called Shambhu.

39.Aditya
Lord Narayana is also understood from the Sun.  The radiance of Lord Narayana, the light of knowledge illuminated by Him is like the light of the Sun.  God is the source of the energy that nourishes all  living beings.
Similarly, the all pervading extent of  the Sun is also described by Aditya who is Lord Vishnu.
According to another interpretation, the Lord of Bhudev(Goddess Earth) is called Aditya who is none other than Lord Vishnu.

40.Pushkarakshah
This name of Lord Narayana describes the divine form of the Lord.  When a devotee sees the Lord in the form of a corporeal form, he finds him the most beautiful person in the whole world.  The eyes of the Lord bloom like a lotus flower.  It is the embodiment of the formless Brahman in the mind of the devotee.

41.Mahaswanah
God is great, that is, to be worshipped.  His sound is venerable, in fact the sound of Lord Narayana is the Veda.
The supernatural being of Lord Narayana is expressed in many illustrations and one of such illustrations is  the Vedas which are his own voice.

42.Anadinidhanh
Aadi means beginning or birth and demise means end or death.  But God has neither birth nor death, it has neither beginning nor end.  He always remains free from time, time and space. He remains unchanged  and indestructible.

43.Dhata
Lord Vishnu is the one who sustains the whole world and the creation and nurtures it.

 44.Creator
Lord Vishnu is also called the Creator.  Lord Vishnu in the form of the Creator is the cause of all actions and the results of actions, He also creates the actions of the doer and also determines the results of those actions.  As the Creator, Lord Vishnu bears the burden of those who sustains the whole world.

45., 46.Dhatuh Uttamh
Addressing Vishnu, he is also called Param Purush.  He is considered above the Trinity.  He is greater than the Creator.
When his name is reversed i.e. when addressed with uttamah dhatuh, it means that Vishnu is above the five dhatus, he is the supreme element because he has the supreme consciousness.
If these names are called separately, the dhatuh refers to the Supreme Soul, who, being the master of the Supreme Consciousness, controls the cause and effect.         Narayana is the sacred consciousness that controls the whole world which is a chain of actions and results of actions.
Uttamh expresses the Supreme Soul as who is superior to all who have originated.  Nothing is better than the  Lord Narayana.
